Demonstration data sets

Installing CAP also installs several demonstration data sets 

of widely differing

size and species abundance

Aldabra Atoll vegetation survey data   aldabra veg.csv

Coastal dune vegetation survey   dune_species.csv

Hinkley Point fish survey   Hinkley_fish.csv

Southern English chalk stream invertebrate survey   River_inverts.csv

Data on fish caught on power stations in N. Europe   Powerstation_fish.csv

These allow you to test the program and by opening these files in Excel or

another spreadsheet, see how the data are organised. If they are not required,

these files can be deleted without affecting the program.

The Hinkley_fish.csv file holds the actual monthly captures of fish collected at

Hinkley Point in the Severn Estuary over a 14 year period. You can find more

information on this exceptional time series, which is now in its 25th year, on our

website at: http://www.irchouse.demon.co.uk/consultproj1.html
