3.3 Setting the Special Character
The special character can be set using the sequence
=. For example, @=# would change

the special character to a hash (#) character. The special
character may be set to any printable ASCII character except

the blank character (i.e. any character in the ASCII range
[33,126]). In normal use, it should not be necessary to change

avoid changing the special character so as not to confuse
